图为法兰连接比例式减压阀的结构简图。活塞作为比例式减压阀的一个重要部件,在阀体内作直线运动,其后端(图1)中活塞的下端,受水面积一般为其前端受水面积的整数倍。在高层建筑消防给水系统中,当在阀后管网上无用水时,阀门关闭,阀前后压力比是定值,p前?F前=p后?F后(p前、F前、p后、F后分别表示阀前、阀后的压强和活塞的受力面积);当减压阀后管网启用消火栓或喷头喷水时,阀前压力大于阀后压力,推动活塞后移,减压阀打开阀后管网压力随流量的增加而降低(符合流量-压力特性曲线),直至达到平衡位置,活塞停止移动。当阀后管网停止用水时,由于活塞后端压强升高,减压阀活塞失去平衡状态而前移,阀门关闭。
