注射速度影响注塑机成型制品
注射时,为了使熔料及时充满型腔,注塑机除了有足够的注射压力外,还应有一定的注射速度,以保证熔料有较快的流速。生产时,选择合理的注射速度是保证塑料制品质量的一个重要因素。通常,低速注射熔料,充模时间长,制品容易出现熔接痕、密度不均匀和残余应力大等缺陷,特别是对加工温度范围较窄的结晶型塑料和薄壁制品表现得更显著。
高速注射虽然可以减少模腔内的熔料温差,改善压力传递效果,得到密度均匀、应力小的精密制品,并缩短成型周期,但是,过高的注射速度使得熔料流经喷嘴时,产生大量的摩擦热,可能引起塑料产生分解和变色,以及吸人气体和排气不良等弊病,直接影响制品的表面质量,同时,对程控的要求更高。
目前,注射速度有不断提高的趋势。因为提高注射速度不仅能缩短注射时间,而且还能在较低的模温下获得优质制品,并缩短成型周期。尤其在注射成型各种薄壁长流程制品时,高注射速度是获得优质制品的先决条件。为了适应不同塑料和不同结构制品加工的要求,注塑机的注射速度也有一定的调节范围。注射速度的调节可通过控制进入注射油缸压力油的流量来实现。此外,目前还采用多级注射以适应制品结构的要求。
