聚酰胺树脂，英文名为1olyamide,简称PA。俗称尼龙（Nylon），它是大分子族链重复单元含有酰胺基团的高聚物的总称。为五大工程原料中产量最大，品种最多，用途最广的品种。主要的品种有尼龙6，尼龙66，尼龙11，尼龙12，尼龙610，尼龙612，尼龙46，尼龙1010等，其中尼龙6，尼龙66产量最大，约占尼龙产量的90 %以上。尼龙11和尼龙12具有低温韧性。尼龙46具有优异的耐热性而得到迅速发展，尼龙1010是以蓖麻油为原料的我国的特有品种。
